As we know, we normally imagine Best Buy when we just about to buy something related to electronic devices including not only households but also everything associated with electronics. Best Buy has strong image of as if it is shop of electronics monopoly. It means that Best Buy is the biggest electronics shop in United States. Furthermore, their business goal is to satisfy current and future customer’s request in service and cost way. Thus, its service for customer is quite amazing. In addition, Best Buy always has special sales in different week to customer’s request. It also has internet shop and ‘Store pick up service’ for customer’s convenience. Above all, I think that Best Buy’s service and their marketing strategy especially advertising are significantly ridiculous among sales companies. In my opinion, It already accomplish its goal at least and still in success but I have some more strategy to be more in success.

As we know and learned before, blog is recently new trend of the world without doubt. So I want recommend Best buy to concentrate on their marketing advertisement in blog way. The reason why I picked blog as a new strategy of marketing for Best Buy is that blog advertising needs not big money but only high-concern of company. In addition, blog is the easiest way to reach future customer and to show its new products in low budget. Thus, I recommend this company to keep its current system and do more effort on blog advertising strategy than before. Some part of people do not know about Best Buy’s detailed service such as internet outlet shop so Best Buy need to show their service things as much as they can to maximize their profit.

Furthermore, I also want to recommand to make international branch shops more. Because other countries barely have this kind of certaion proffesional electroic shop yet.

New trends of expression; Video Strategy

Nowadays, most people get information about new products or advertisings from video site a lot such as YouTube. People normally approach that kind of video sites for fun and those sites are extremely famous and popular for sure. As a result, many companies or individuals who have purpose of something try to use this video site as tool to accomplish their goals. Furthermore, some parts of individuals tend to just try to let people know their story. In other words, people are trying this new twist on Web promotion, sending short films to YouTube and other popular video sites, advertising everything. Furthermore, it costs nothing to put something on a video-sharing site, unlike buying television time or a regular Internet advertising. And the videos let companies use a creative and personal touch that wouldn't work in traditional ads. However, we only saw only part of thing which was successful in video sites. First of all, I picked Google (http://www.google.com/alerts) as a tool to listening brand and I chose “Calvin Klein” as a keyword. The reason why I chose this brand is that “Calvin Klein” is well known brand and it is really famous on their advertisement. They mostly use sexually shocking stuff on their advertising and it attracts people especially for young people. When people see their advertising, they usually feel curious about brands. It is called noise-marketing. By showing sexually shocking image on advertising, that brand can appeal their name and image easily. Furthermore, in Korea, by showing something shocking, that brand can be listed on the top level of “Hourly Hot Searching.”

 

However, I want to focus on Calvin Klein’s advertising in negative way. As I searched in Google tools, I found article which show us that Calvin Klein’s advertising is prohibited in Australia. Because it’s advertising is too sultry. In addition, in Korea, Calvin Klein was sued by people once because their advertising associates with sexual violation. I understand that Calvin Klein’s purpose is quite different with that kind of bad news. Calvin Klein just tried to appeal their brand and product extremely. And it just tried to attract people more. I also understand its side but Calvin Klein had to care about side effects like as I mentioned above. Young people can understand its purpose but other people such as conservative people cannot understand that kind of sexual advertising. Thus, in my opinion, Calvin Klein has to do something to keep their advertising. What if Calvin Klein does not do anything, this brand can be harmed by people for sure.

In five years, I might be at Seoul, capital city of South Korea ; my home country. I have plan to graduate next year 2011. Right after graduation, I have to go back to Korea to inherit family’s company which is related to auto mechanical engineering. When I was young, I really did not want to get in my family’s company but I changed my mind recently. When I was in Military service in Korea, that period was my turning point in my life. I realized that succeeding family’s job is my destiny.

I have to agree with Stephen that Macwell's idea for #3 is impressive and would bring so much positive attention to the area. This kind of thinking is what we really need. It would stimulate the local economy in a big way; provide incredible exposure to an active group of people determined to overhaul an old city with new ideas. This is a major win-win deal. If you qualify for the student award - I would get busy if I were you and try to meet the deadline. An amazing idea will be spread all around. Furthermore, most effective ways to try and improve the state is to offer a better education in creative way. It means that investigations are the basic factor in developing state. In addition, to accelerate state movement, this competition for our state is very attractive and significant possibilities. Thus, we need to give more interests in this field as much as we can. Above all, it was really impressive stuff for me.
